I love baby blankets. I think I kept all of my girls blankets and Aidan's also. I made several blankets for Aidan when he was newborn and have made a few for friends recently. Here's the one I made this week for a friend who just had a baby girl. My oldest daughter, Alyssa, wanted to keep it for herself. I will try and find some more material that will fit her personality!!

Challenge #1
Toni over at Bowl Full of Lemons has posted her first challenge. It's to create a home management binder. I am going to create one although it won't be as detailed as hers. I tend to use my phone to manage contacts and schedules like school calendars and basketball games etc. I think it will be useful to have the binder for meal planning, finances, and general weekly calendar info. Here's a pic of my new binder. Isn't it cute!

Mission:Organization/Clean
So, while the chicken breast were cooking for the Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup, I decided to make some chicken enchiladas. I got the recipe from Janelle at Comfy in the Kitchen. It is super yummy. I used both corn and flour tortillas since my husband doesn't care for soggy flour tortillas... I also cleaned out the fridge and freezer. They both look great. Hopefully they will stay organized and clean!
The Flu has Hit!
After being home all week with Callie because of the flu, now my oldest daughter Alyssa has it also. Her case seems to be worse than Callie's as she has had really high fever. Alyssa had the flu shot and Callie didn't.... go figure! Time for some Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup and prayer that Aidan doesn't get sick.

My Road to Organization
I have been following the organization challenges from A Bowl Full of Lemons. Our house is slowly but surely coming together. I'd like to thank my good friend Melissa for telling me about the challenge. My husband is soooo happy and the kids are excited too. They come home for school wanting to know what I "organized" today! My goal is to keep it organized and clean! So far, these are the areas that I have tackled: under bathroom sinks, mud room/pantry, junk drawer, desk drawer, master closet, sewing area, scrapbook area. I didn't take any pictures for before but will take the afters.
These are the areas that are on my list to tackle:
